The Memorial was moved to its present position near the Folk Centre in 1957 to ease traffic problems Hanham War Memorial is inscribed 'To the Glory of God and in grateful memory of all those who gave their lives in the cause of freedom in the Great War 1914-1918' and contains the following 69 names:
